The Benefits of Custom Built PC's

The most remarkable benefit of a custom-built PC is the price. At first, it may appear that Custom Built PC's would cost you more and you need to have a good understanding of the inner workings of a computer system just to own one. But contrary to popular belief, choosing the specific components you want in your computer will actually cost less as compared to purchasing a brand name PC. Note that name-brand computers and their parts are only attractive to consumers for a single reason: recognition. Consumers generally feel at ease when they buy a product from a popular manufacturer. However, there is currently a number of high-quality parts from a variety of different manufacturers that have been introduced into the market. Such components can deliver the same performance as the branded parts but at a fraction of the price.

If you take a close look at the computer market, there is only a handful of pre-packaged computers that offer top-notch components as well as all the specific features that you need. So, Custom Built PC's are the way to go as you can personally pick quality parts that will last longer while meeting all your requirements. This also gives you the advantage of finding spare parts easier. Since the computer has been built based on your requirements, you can buy replacement parts from various dealers in the market and your options are not restricted to a single manufacturer. Moreover, the individual components come with warranties. With branded units, you only receive one or two years of limited warranty. This is great but once a component calls for a repair, then you have to send the whole unit to the product manufacturer. This will actually cost more time and money compared to repairs done for Custom Built PC's. If you can't make the needed repair by yourself, there are plenty of custom-builders who can provide the necessary assistance.

Another benefit you get from custom-built PCs is the amount of modifications at your disposal. The computer is literally built just for you! You can upgrade the specs you're most interested in. For instance, gamers can have the latest video card installed in their computer to ensure that it can process state-of-the-art graphics. If you are the type of user who stores tons of files such as photos, videos and music, then you just have to pick the biggest hardrive available. You can also customize the look of your PC to make it unique. Having said all these, it is quite evident that Custom Built PC's are superior to branded computers in almost every aspect. Just make sure you choose a reputable custom PC builder.

Can you install a legit Mac OS X leopard on a custom built computer?

can you install a legit copy of mac OS X leopard on a custom built Intel i7/core2 duo computer?

if not, what do i need to install a legit copy? or it's really not possible to install an OS X without patching it?

easiest way how to do this? is there any hardware requirements for the OS X to run on a PC?

There is no way to install a "Legit" copy of ANY Mac OS to a PC.

Apple does not license it's OS software for use on anything other than a Mac computer.
