Moen Canada Brings The Benefits Of Water Pressure To A Rainshower Showerhead

Look inside today’s higher-end showers, and you’ll find one thing in common:  oversized showerheads that deliver a natural stream of rain-like water.  But, just like Mother Nature, sometimes these rain-like showers aren’t so perfect – lacking the water pressure to make the shower feel luxurious.

Now, with the Velocity™ rainshower showerhead, Moen has created a way to channel water pressure into a total-body, rain-soaking experience.  This eight-inch showerhead features Moen Immersion™ technology – a self-pressurizing system that increases the force and flow of water delivery.

“With a typical rainshower showerhead, consumers may experience a ‘drooping’ water pattern – similar to what you might see from a watering can,” said John Hammill, vice president, wholesale sales, Moen Canada.  “Velocity eliminates that drooping so consumers get the water pressure they desire from their shower.”

Beyond providing pressurized water flow, Velocity is adjustable, allowing consumers to personalize their shower experience. The showerhead has a convenient lever to adjust the water delivery from the spray nozzles – concentrating it into 30 nozzles or expanding the flow out of as many as 100.

“When you’re rinsing your hair, you may choose to switch the showerhead from 100 to 30 spray nozzles,” said Hammill.  “The water intensity increases as you go to fewer nozzles, so you get exactly the water coverage and flow you want for a perfect rinse or perfect rainshower.  It’s the first rainshower showerhead that allows for such customization.”

The showerhead features a transitional style to coordinate with a variety of Moen faucet collections.  It’s available in Chrome, LifeShine® Brushed Nickel and Oil Rubbed Bronze finishes.
