I remember a show called Serenity-kinda sci-fi-& want to know why it went off the air?
I thought it was a really well put together series & am seriously disappointed that it was cancelled. Or is it on cable/satellite?
It was one of the Mutant Enemy productions created by Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.
It was cancelled because of poor ratings. The whole "western frontier" style of the show was a bit odd too.
It is available on DVD, and is on cable sometimes in Australia.
The show was 'Firefly" and the telemovie made after the series and was done to finish off the contracts signed with the cast, and round off the few episodes they made. Some of the same actors rocked up in the last season of Buffy and fourth season of Angel.
