Why Buy A Single Handle Kitchen Faucet?
Having a single handle kitchen faucet is something that would definitely make life easier. How is that? The kitchen is considered to be one of the busiest places inside the house. Every day, the kitchen faucet is turned on and off so many times. That means having a faucet that is designed to be smooth and convenient will make life so much more enjoyable and easy going. That's why choosing a single handle faucet is probably the best choice for the kitchen.
The single handle faucet is the faucet that has a single lever handle. You turn the water flow on and off with a single lever handle. At the same time, you can adjust the water temperature by turning the handle from side to side as well.
Some users prefer a two handle faucet where one handle is meant to control the hot water and the other handle is to control the cold water supply. You adjust the temperature of your water through maneuvering both handles. While this could allow for more precise adjustment of water temperature, you do give up a lot of the convenience associated just using one handle.
Compare that to the usability of the single handle kitchen faucet only with only one operation control. Even the kids will find it easy to use a single hand faucet. It's great for trying to teach them how to wash their hands and have proper hygiene. They can easily pick up the skills and learn to be independent.
Besides easy usability, here are other explanations why a single kitchen faucet would make the most sense.
Firstly, there is a model for every budget. This type of faucet is the simplest among its kind. You can also find it easily everywhere from entry level models with simple styles to more sophisticated high end ones. You can get a faucet like this at a local store or any general hardware store. The prices do range from the cheap ones to more expensive ones that may have better specs or be branded. The prices will differ and to give a general range, you should be able to find a good one from between $80 to $300.
Secondly, there are plenty of models and designs to choose from. You can find various models with modern or traditional designs from all reliable brand manufacturers. There are ones with higher arcs as well which offer greater clearance for pots and pans. In addition, if you want a kitchen space that stands out, you can consider ones with unique finishes like a bronze kitchen faucet or a nickel kitchen faucet.
Thirdly, it's easy to install. Because single handle kitchen faucets are often the most basic kind of equipment, they are also the easiest to install. You can do it yourself; aided with a basic guide and tools, you can accomplish the task even if you're no plumbing expert. If you do want to engage a plumber or handyman, the costs involved should be very reasonable.

Will i need to remove the wall to replace shower/tub single handle faucet?
I need to replace the spout and the handle on will i need to go into the wall to do this the shower head is fine the knob that you pull to divert the water to the shower is stuck so we can't take a bath and the handle is worn out...so do i need to go into the wall to do this...need to know before i buy fixtures.. would it be better to hire someone to do this????
how do i remove the spout i tried turning it i thought it just screwed on ?/
you need to turn the water off and start unscrewing the fixtures.
Then take those to a plumbing supply house and see what they have to replace them with.
you won't need to replace the wall. It wouldn't hurt to hire a pro the first time.
