The Different Types of Wall Murals

Wall murals are an impressive way to decorate your room. The right chosen design or style will not only give a new life to the room but it also compliments the interior design and arrangement of your room. Being a good addition to your room d?cor, it would make your once old and dull room a vibrant life. Wall murals add colour to the four corners of your room and creates a light and cool atmosphere in the room. This is best used and installed in the living room to good a new delightful air for everybody, in the kitchen so you would feel the comfort while preparing your food and even in the children's room to give them a new vibrant creative design around them.

Because of its different uses for design and plays an important role in interior decoration, wall murals have a wide variety of styles and types. One type is called the wallpaper mural. As the name implies, it is simply a wall mural designed wall paper. This is the simplest and cheapest of the wall murals available. The design is embedded in the wallpaper so all you need to do is just to install it on the wall using some adhesive substance.

Another type is called the painted mural because it is done by painting directly on to the wall. The design of course is being selected first before it is painted on the wall. The designs for this type of mural can be made on clay or on ceramics before it is done on the wall. This type of wall mural is most popular and likened by most children because there is an involvement of them.

A tile mural is a different type of wall mural that is done on the tiles before it is mounted on the wall. Because of this type of wall mural, a boring kind of room will be given a new life and be made into something very beautiful. With this type of mural, the wall will have a new complete look and a good decorating tool.

Lastly, there is what we call the ceramic mural. This is a one more type of wall mural that is made from pieces and bits of tiles, coloured glass, ceramics and even mirrors. This kind of mural needs a great knack of artistry and creativity. Your goal here is to make a great design from these pieces by making a collage out of the materials.

I've started painting 4" ceramic tiles and selling them in sets of four on ebay. Here are some examples of ones I did already:

nautical theme with an anchor, lighthouse, ship, etc.
seashell theme with different types of shells
fruits and veggies for a kitchen backsplash setting
birds are a good theme
maybe a sun, moon and stars theme
maybe a collection of 9 with a suburban mural, like a country cottage or something.
