Why You Should Choose Clear Towel Rings
That means towel rings. You need a place to hang towels by the sink so people can dry their hands and also have some hanging out near the tub or shower for after they bathe. A lot of people, when they're choosing rings, like big ornate pieces. They think of them as a part of the decor and an extra added piece of the look of the room. However, if you've put a lot of money and time in choosing the towels and other matching accessories in your bathroom, why would you let the rings take away from this? Do you really want them to dampen some of the look of those other pieces you've selected?
Instead, why not allow your matching bathroom accessories to get the attention they deserve. Instead of getting a towel rack that will pull away from their attention, get one that no one will even see as there. You need a clear towel ring. Clear towel rings are generally made out of plastic or resin. While they may look fragile, they're really pretty heavy duty. Once you attach them to the wall, you can hang your towel on them and instead of noticing the ring the eyes of those who come in the room be drawn directly to the towel and other decorations in the in the bathroom instead of just the rings.
Another great thing about clear towel rings is that they're not always standing out when they're empty. If you're washing the towels it doesn't look like there's a big blight on the wall where the towel ring is sitting, because since it's clear it's not nearly as obtrusive.
There are however some bathrooms where a clear towel ring is actually a part of the style. Generally for those who are using a modern or contemporary decorating theme, a clear ring is a perfect fit and has that feel of glass that is used as a major part of so many contemporary rooms.
Are you sold yet on this idea? Or are you going to be a holdout? If you are holding out maybe it's because you are not sure if towel rings are the way to go for your bathroom. How well do they work? Are they annoying? These are questions that are typically asked by people who have never used towel rings before and are used to bars or racks. Well relax rings are just as easy to use and will not be a problem. While you may worry that you will pull them out of the wall every time that you try to pull the towel off, remember these are round. Part of the benefit of that round shape is that that towel will want to slide off of the ring and end up just where you want it to be, in your hand so you can dry off after washing.

Where do you hang your finger towel in the kitchen?
I work in my kitchen a lot and am constantly washing my hands. I have to have a finger towel really handy. I had an island cart in my kitchen which was near the sink and it had a towel rack on it. I have now removed the cart from my kitchen and have no place for my towel. Would it look right to put a towel ring in the area below the sink and above the doors in that area? The towel would hang down in front of those two doors. HELP !
I think a towel ring would look out of place in a kitchen and more like a bathroom accessory. Perhaps a pretty brass or chrome hook for your towel would work better?? Or, perhaps hang a towel on the cabinet hardware or the oven door?
