Ground on gas line for fireplace?

remodling bathroom took out whirlpool tub motor had ground running under deck to pipes and also gas line from fireplace had ground wire to these pipes also can we ground the gas line some other way inside the wall what would be acceptable ground?

I was looking for and answer on how else to ground this gas line preferrably behind or in the wall .....there is no switch , I dont want to ram a 8' bar out side as the other person answered

not sure of your problem Most gas fireplaces have low voltage push button light If you have electric control like a dimmer switch you can ground to any metal the best ground is to your water pipe anywhere you can
